H., 1840-49; Professor of Anatomy and Physiology, University of Maryland, 1842-60; Lecturer on Practice, University of Maryland, 1842-44; Emeritus Professor, 1860. He ranked among the best lecturers on Anatomy in America. Died at Baltimore, June 3, 1860.
