Graduated from Georgetown College; pupil of Dr. Warfield, of Georgetown; M.D., Washington Medical College, Baltimore, 1829; practiced in Montgomery County, Md., 1829-49; later, at Washington, D.C.; retired, 1863; in the Government employ, 1863-67. Died at Washington, D.C., September, 1867. See lists of 1848 and 1853.
