Pupil of Dr. Keener; M.D., University of Maryland, 1831; practiced at Hereford, Baltimore County about thirty years; represented Baltimore County in the House of Delegates (eight terms), 1834-48; moved to Baltimore about 1848, and practiced there some years; a local preacher of M. E. Church. Died at Baltimore, December 29, 1863.
