    Notes: Dr. Harry Adler, well-known Baltimore specialist and for ten years president of Sinai Hospital, died early today at his home, 1718 Eutaw Place, after an illness of four weeks. He was 65.

    Funeral services will be held at his home on Wednesday morning at 10:30 o’clock. Interment will be in the Baltimore Hebrew Cemetery.

    Dr. Adler is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carrie Frankl Adler; a son, Charles Adler, and three sisters, Mrs. Saie May, Mrs. Helen Laucheim and Miss Blanche Adler.

    Dr. Adler was born in Baltimore and was educated in the public schools, taking his bachelor degree at the Johns Hopkins University and his medical training at the University of Maryland. This was followed by two years’ study in Berlin, Vienna and Prague.

    Subsequently, he became an instructor in the clinical laboratory at the University of Maryland and then director of the laboratory. Later he became a clinical professor of medicine and therapeutics.

    During his term as head of Sinai Hospital, several new buildings were added to the institution.

    Dr. Adler had written numerous monographs and contributed to several volumes on diseases of the digestive tract.

    A member of the Madison Avenue Temple, he was also connected with the American Gastro-Enterologic Association, the American Medical Association, and numerous other medical groups. Dr. Adler was active in Jewish activities in the city and had been director of the Federated Jewish Charities and the Jewish Home for Comsumptives.
