Notes: “Dr. Justus Dunot, the oldest physician in Cecil county, died at his residence on the Little Elk, last Monday, in the ninetieth year of his age, after an illness of several months, from the infirmities incident to old age. He was a native of Wilmington, Del., where he studied medicine. He graduated at the University of Pennsylvania in 1825. In early life he practised his profession in Philadelphia, and subsequently, in connection with the celebrated Dr. McClintock, had charge of the School of Anatomy in that city, of which he afterwards became the sole proprietor, until he was succeeded by Dr. D. Hayes Agnew.”
