Notes: Memorial: Richard Randall M.D. son of John & Deborah Randall born 1796 entered the Medical Staff of the Army 1818 chosen Professor of Chemistry in Columbia College D.C. 1825. Appointed Governor of Liberia 1828 and freely exposed his life to the most perious duties of his station till 19th April 1829 when he fell a Martyr to the cause in which his heart was engaged. Humanity weeps at his tomb but Religion wipes away the tears.
