Notes: Born in Somerset County, Md., October 20, 1820; son of Henry White. Educated at Washington Academy, Somerset County, and at Jefferson College, Pa.; M.D., University of Pennsylvania, 1841; practiced some years in Somerset County and after that up to the period of his death at Baltimore; Attending Physician to City Almshouse, 1853-55; retired, 1892. Died at Baltimore, June 4, 1897. See Trans., 1853-59.
