Educated at the University of Virginia; M.D., Jefferson Medical College, 1858; House Surgeon, Brooklyn City Hospital, 1858-59; Assistant Surgeon, C.S.A., 1861-62; Chief Surgeon, Corps of Artillery, and on the Staff of Col. Hillary P. Jones; was captured at Appomattox Court House, 1865; settled at Baltimore, 1871; Professor of Materia Medica and Therapeutics, Washington University. 1124 North Charles Street, Baltimore.
