Martin; M.D., Washington University, 1844; began practice at Baltimore; Resident Physician, Baltimore Almshouse, 1846-47; in California, 1849-55; Surgeon, Pacific Mail Steamship Service; returned to Baltimore; Vaccine Physician, 1857-59; removed to Brookeville, Md., 1861; practiced at Brookeville until 1895; after that at Baltimore. Died at Baltimore, April 14, 1900.
