Notes: TRAPNALL, PHILIP: Ann Hammond, died intestate and letters of admin., were granted to Andrew Banks on the suggestion that there were no creditors or others entitled to administer. On 23 June 1798 Philip Trapnall petitioned the Orphans Court that Banks’ suggestion was false and that he himself was a creditor. He asked that the admin. to Banks be revoked. Andrew Banks replied on 21 Aug 1798 that on 25 May of that year he was granted letters of admin. and that he did not believe the dec. was indebted to anyone
except Trapnall, for one or two visits as her physician, and that he was willing to pay Trapnall’s claims (Philip Trapnall’s anserr to Andrew Banks, Petitions, Baltimore County, BA, 1798).
